In ‘An Untimely Frost’, I introduce Inspector Theresa Heppolette as she investigates a shocking incident at a school in Jersey. I’m currently working on the next in what I hope will be a Heppolette series, in which she is confronted by the grisly murder of a brilliant young musician. At the same time, she is forced to confront a very personal fear as her relationship with Archie Morton, with whom she worked closely on the previous case, continues to develop.
